Travel and hospitality into the workspace
Booking.com, leading e-commerce firm in the tourism & leisure industry, confirmed Tétris as its sole interlocutor and General Contractor for the whole office refurbishment project of its Rome offices.
The existing offices were completely demolished and redesigned. Tétris managed all the building and installation works, while from an interior design viewpoint, it developed a fascinatingly appealing concept. The workspace is playfully divided along a series of corridors and doors offering an imaginary access to hotel rooms the world over, becoming contaminated by the atmospheres of distant lands and using the furnishing and finishes to bring the concepts of travel, hospitality and the meeting of different cultures into the workplace.
The offices, set out on three levels, are organised into large open spaces alternated with meeting rooms and recreational areas, including an outdoor terrace on the top floor. Tétris’ ability to deliver new office designs to the client, perfectly in line with their brand values was behind the great success of this project. The project was completed in three months and encompassed the following activities: workplace consultancy, office design, space planning, fit out works.
