Adaptation of an architectural concept
Present in more than 120 countries, Haworth, is a family-owned company, founded in the United States in 1948. They enrich workspaces with architectural, technological and furniture solutions that promote collaboration, innovation and help companies increase their potential.
Research and design are at the heart of the company’s strategy to understand the challenges of the working environment and their evolution.
As part of their new architectural concept, Haworth called on Tetris to renovate their existing showroom in Lyon.
The renowned interior design agency Patricia Urquiola, based in Italy, is in charge of the brand’s furniture and architectural design for all its worldwide locations.
This showroom is also the place where employees work, creating a truly mixed space, combining showroom and offices, with codes reminiscent of the hotel business: solid wood flooring, textile finishes, etc.
The main challenge was therefore to adapt the design to French standards and regulations while respecting the initial design.
Haworth trusted Tetris to manage its project with the interior design agency Patricia Urquiola in order to bring this collaboration to a successful conclusion.
